Desperate with wrong italian teletext subtitles (1 Viewer)

Hi,

if I could solve this issue with the subtitles everything would be more than perfect in MediaPortal for me and my family. The thing is my wife has hearing problems and I also appreciate the subtitles depending on the language and kind of program.

I posted a similar question a year ago, but nobody answered. So we're having this problem from the beginning.

These are examples of the way we see the subtitles. It's true that you can tell what's the real word, but it's annoying to read always the wrong characters, program after program.

All we ask for is an answer. If there's no solution, we'd be happy enough to finally know it.

Thanks a lot for answering, chemelli.

The issue is what you can see in the captures I made from MediaPortal TV while watching an Italian program with teletext subtitles.

I don't know if the logs would indicate something related to the wrong characters.

I attach the logs I found in MP and MPTVserver after starting to record Agrodolce, the RAI3 series we watch every day, always with the wrong characters.

I must say the same happens with French subtitles, in every word that has a grave accent.

The thing is that if we watch any TS file with these wrong characters using VLC media player, for example, the characters are right displayed. But when we use MP for live TV or recorded TV the characters are like the ones you can see in my first post.

I was trying for hours to upload a small raw recording via ftp, but 1 minute was almost 300MB and it always failed before completing the upload. I think now I can stop trying. Thank you again.

I attach the logs. I did it after tuning an Italian channel (Canale 5) with teletext subtitles. I don't know if that's relevant.
