Digital Devices: cascaded CAM support (2 Viewers)

Great success now:

Tuning/switching works flawless now!
But in MP itself I don't have a menu-entry for the CI-menu, and when I try to open the CI-menu in TVServer-config I get the following message:

i have the same issue due to the entry above ...

and i have a problem when i switch the channels trough ... then MP hangs up after the 3. time or so ...

i tried some codecs ... everytime the same problem.

hi! Thanks for your great work on cascaded cam support.


im using the 1.2.1 dll for my server everything works fine except for 1 problem:

I have 2 cams: ORF (on cryptoworks) and SKY (on alphacrypt classic 3.12)
The ORF work great but the Sky stops working everyday over night or when i restart my tv service.
Then i take the alphacrypt + Sky out and put it back in and it works again for 1 day.

I have tried this cams with the sky card:
Cryptoworks
Alphacrypt Classic
2x Diablo cam (with new updates)
irdeto Access

Every Cam was displayed in the Cam-menu but didnt encrypt the sky channels. Only the Alphacrypt does until the cam "crashes"


You can see my server setup in my profil. The alpha crypt only works when i use only 2 Tuners and 1 Cam per tuner.


So every time i want to watch Sky i have to pull the card out and put it back in and it works. Im not sure but i think the card crashes when there is long time no access or maybe the epg scan is doing something when the sky-card is not used.




Here is the error log the alphacrypt is not working at the moment.

I got my ney Octopus CI today installed it and tried different setting
I used the normal CI before with my alphacrypt or alphacrypt light and everythings works fine with my Sky S02 card.
now i used the same combination which results in an can not unbscramble or otherwise it will decode and crashes the server in less then a second. when i use my maxcam+ with HD02 these channels works without a problem with MTD on 4 channels at one time without a problem
So for me SKY is much more important . I postet the logs maybe you could see something - everything very strange since it works before without octopus

So after 2 Hours of different configs. i found the error (but don´t know if it belongs to MePo or Mysql)
I wonder why TVServer crashes only at sky descrambling now i found the reasson in the LOG.
It´s all about the linkage scanner:

I don´t know much about MySQL - So my Question is the MySQL Table defect or is there a problem with linkages scanner in MePo?

It´s the first time the error occours it worked for month with 1.2.1 with no probs i upgraded only for the Octopus CI.
Now i disabled the linkage scanner and it worked without a problem (with my old CI)
So there have to be a problem with my MySQL or with MePo 1.2.2 and it´s linkage scanner. - and if it´s up to MySQL how can i correct it?
I´m tiered now and go to bed - tomorrow i tried it with the octopus CI and sombody could help me with my error

Have you assigned CAM's to tuners in the DD-Config?

No, I haven't replaced the files, because I currently have 1.1.3 Mepo use.
And yes, I have assigned both CAM's to all (4) tuners at the DD-Config Tool - but I've read that can lead to problems.

I have installed the TVLibrary 1.8 and was able to scan and decrypt without problem.
The only problem I have now is, that the DiSEqC is not working anymore.
When using the original TVLibrary.dll without assigning the CI to the tuner, DiSEqC is working correctly.

Also a problem I have observed:
If the CI has no CAM attached, the TVService is crashing on startup.

OS: Windows 7 x64
Tuner: Digital Device Cine S2
CI: PCIe Octubus DualCI

@ muffsack: I think without the new MePo Version you wouldn´t get it to run in your config - Maybe you can run it with assigning 1 cam to 2 Tuners and the other CAM 2 the 2 others....
Why you don´t like MePo 1.2.2 ? it works great for me.
