forgot to update you.Then the issue is in your mediaportal.xml. Please try renaming it and use the SVN dll version: here it works fine.
Take care that renaming teh xml file you loose all your settings.

I am not sure what to write. I renamed the .xml and found the direct-input devices in the config afterwards. After restoring the .xml the devices are still present. I don't understand why, this is highly illogical but it magically happened like I described.

I have to refresh this thread unfortunately. Basically Direct-Input is working now, but I get a lot of errors and crashed occasionally when I use this function. error.log attached.
