Have you guys disabled automatic Standby/Sleep in Windows Power Management?
That is intentional behavior. You have to use PowerScheduler++, if you want to prevent the system from going into Sleep mode, when you are doing maintenance. In the regular PowerScheduler this is only achieved by monitoring processes (SetupTV and Configuration by default). In PowerScheduler++ you can prevent the system from going to Sleep, when the MediaPortal client is not running. It happened to me again today, I exited MP and wanted to do some maintenance to my DB and after some seconds it went to sleep though I was using the computer. So I woke it up and stopped TVService and it was fine. And I do have those settings mentioned.
Today, I still had the problem and I already had the suspendgraceperiod option added, as mentioned above:
<entry name="suspendgraceperiod">5</entry>
What is the option doing? Is the problem understood?
In the meantime I will give PowerScheduler++ a try.
