to give a short update on all TeVii related stuff:

There is one patch pending, that handles tevii as single filter tuners (see page before). This should fix "device is in use" message.

Another more complex part is a modified tuning handling, based on the TeVii SDK. I'm testing with cfforce this build. It seems to work better in terms of tuning time. But because there is feature freeze, I'm not sure if this change will get into svn (and therefore in 1.1 RCx)

To all who having issues with TeVii cards, please test this build:

it is intended for exactly 2 issues only:

• graph building issue, logging "device is in use"
• slow diseqc / tuning

It's based on official 1.1 RC2 build.

Installation instructions:

• Install RC2 build
• make a backup of TvServer program folder
• overwrite TvServer binaries with the one I've attached as zip

Test the following scenarios:

• tuning DVB-S channels
• tuning DVB-S2 channels
• using DiSEqC for different satellites (if available)
• zapping, recording

Post your logfiles (most important tv.log), compare tuning times, report all issues you may find!

Great work morpheus!

So I have tried with my Tevii s464(pci-card).

No errors in tv-sever log. Notably faster channel change, at the moment 3 sec max but faster on same transponder.
I have not tried diseqc since I had to direct connect to the LNB. I will try tomorrow and post result.

Ok here comes the first report, tvlogs attached.

Did not tune between S2 channels, but used diseqc. I´m happy to report that diseqc works as should. No problem
switching between 2 LNBs. Tuning is faster, its hard to give any exact numbers since I didn´t clock them now and before.
Scanning is also faster, between transponders time is halved more or less.

For all I can tell my card know works as it should.

Using a S420 card. zapping is faster.
Had some hope that this would make my S660 work at all but still same as reported some time ago. (Probably some missmatch with my motherboard)

Not much is shown in the log from what i can see, only one row when i start the scan.
2010-04-22 17:36:18.281250 is when i clicked the scan button in tvsetup.
