Hi,

I am having the issue that when trying to use a Diseqc 2.0 (Spaun 4 to 2 - 4 LNB In to 2 Receiver Out) switch with MP I can't view any SAT.
TVServer Config scans happily both Satellites (on both tuners) and gets all channels but when I try to view them it comes up with error "Unable to timeshift / Unknown error".
Don't have any logs at the moment but can try to generate over the weekend (presume TV log is needed)... just wonder of there are any things I can check beforehand or are there any known issues with MP or this card or is RC4 any better regarding handling Diseqc ... or even wait for MP Final?
Have tried different Diseqc options but no change, and thought if it can scan it should be able to watch, I am just surprised - I thought when TVserver can handle the switch for scanning then it should be a home run...
If I connect two LNBs directly everything is working fine - so it must be the switch...

hi .. have a similar problem

just vice versa.. i can see sat but cannot tune different lnbs...

either astras or hotbird.. but never both of them ... diseqc is not switching ..

Everybody else having no issues with Diseqc?
Didn't get any logs, had some other issue with the card and had to go back to my Pinnacle for the moment (which I am using with the Reycom driver and believe this doesn't support diseqc)
But I hope to go back to the Blackgold card and very eager to get the switching to work.....

PLEASE, somebody with some feedback!!!!

I am still no further and probably going to try it again at the weekend...
Just a few general questions:

- should diseqc work with RC3?
- are there only some cards working correctly with Diseqc / or have been successfully tested?
- are there any known issues? - Any links that one should work through (have looked around but don't find anything that give me something to work on)

Any feedback from somebody who is using Diseqc successfully would be great!

Yea, Only some cards work and some that a spossed to work won't. I.e. I have a technotrend Budget S1500 that is meant to have diseqc support I've tried EVERYTHING! I mean HOURS to get thing thing working. Also diseqc on some cards might work with the WDM drive but not the BDA. e.g. SkyStar2 which sux because the BDA drivers are normally better imho.

I've given up on diseqc now that's because it only gains me a few extra (crappy) channels; for some I guess that's not really an option. In saying that it is possible and once you get it working it will be reliable.

Juk, can you try SS2 with WDM drivers?
It's quite cheap.

My version of the card is not that good (2.7U) and sometimes the signal may go weak (both because of TVServer and SS2), but I can happily see 4 Sats through DISEqC 1.0.

My config is:
- 2 clients with 2xDISEqC 1.0 (4x1),
- 2 clients without a DISEqC.

I use 1xQuadro LNB and 3xTWIN LNBs

But still looking for another card and possibility to use more than 4 LNBs in one instance of TVServer.

It's working with driver 4.4.3 and 4.5.0. I didn't even know that it's not worked before with bda driver...

I tried both BDA versions on RC1, but it didn't work for me.
I don't know if it works on RC2-4 or 1.0
