Ok so as far as I can tell there is no stable release of TV server yet?

If you want to run TV Server you have to download one of the SVN's.

But as far as the client goes, do you really have to grab the latest SVN of meida portal or can you not just run latest stable release 0.2.3.0?

Im running 0.2.3.0 on one of my remote pcs and seems to work ok but on the same pc as running the server im running the same svn of the client.

Just curious as some of the plugins work with 0.2.3.0 but since some of the latest svn's they dont

Thanks

You can use the 0.2.3.0 stable release for as long as that works. But if something breaks or you notice a bug, don't report it unless you can reproduce it with a matched up pair of MP client & TV Server.

If people report bugs with mismatched client/server we'll have a hell of a time tracking them down...

I wasn't able to build TV3 from snv today without building the latest mediaportal from svn first, so I'd say yes.
