Sorry to hear that buffering cannot be fixed on new dr.dk site - Just thought that it would be possible, because the website streams seems to start right away.

Can we find some kind of "out-of-box" working solution for Live TV, without manual change in config settings?

Will the new dr.dk/nu .dll be available in Onlinevideos 0.29? (So it is possible to add direcetly form Onlinevideos catalog).

Buffering DOES work for DR NU and Bonanza, as it starts playback after ~ 2% buffering. I agree that it's rather slow though (especially for Bonanza).

I don't know when OnlineVideos 0.29 is out, but my intention is to upload DR/TV2 to the repository for others to use. Offbyone already mentioned this as a possibility, like many other sites created by others

After much fun I found the codec-combination that works with DR Live FLV streams. It takes a little work though...(and have a small issue with sound?)

Basically we want the graph chain to be File Source (URL) -> CyberLink FLV Splitter(PDVD10) -> CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD10) / MONOGRAM AAC Decoder

1. Install *Unlocked* SAF 5 (I just used the latest version)

2. MediaPortal Configuration, Set Video Codecs as attached screenshot
3. FFDShow Audio Decoder Configuration, disable AAC as attached screenshot

4. Change FFDShow Video Decoder Configuration, disable H.264/AVC
5. Should work now, but if not, check graph with GraphStudio, you don't want any other codecs loaded but the ones in this screenshot

There is an issue with the sound...it is as if it sometimes increases A LOT in short bursts. Really annoying. Is present on DR1 and DR Update, but not DR2

Anyone know why Mediaportal wont use powerdvd as video decoder?
First I registered the decoder and then selected it in mp configuration, but mp is not using it.....





Is it possible to force mp to use it?

Would it be possible to include the recenly added channel DR-HD in the DR LIVE TV folder?

DR HD added as a live channel and also some small fixes with categories in DR NU.

If you have trouble watching live TV, I think the only true solution is to switch to Windows 7, if you are running XP.

Please test if this updated DLL fixes the problems with DR Live/NU. I know that TV2 doesn't work, but I'll look at that later on.

Edit: Just tested your DLL on my other MP setup (low spec-P4,3.2-1G.ram) and working perfectly!
(Both setups W7 ult.)

Still not working here. Getting unspecified error using dr.nu. When selecting a live tv channel sound starts but no picture - stays in menu selelction until I press stop - then throws error msg "kunne ikke afspille onlinevideo".
