Yes, WEBEPG is independant of any TC card, al you need is internet access

Not sure whether that is true, as you do have to MAP WebEPG to TV Channels,
As in WebEPG Configuration, Import channels, MAP Channels, Save.
Then run WebEPG, which produces the xmltv file needed for Guide.

XMLTV on the other hand believe is independent, but to use would have to read up on. Sorry no more info on that as have not used for 18 months. but i do not know if it is upto date.

I saw another post earlier today asking if it was possible to download EPG for every channel received in the uk, Freeview, Sky. This is where the problem comes, out of 55 channels received, have 33 used, why would i want to scroll through a TVguide showing a list 55 channels long, when i can scroll through the 33 channels i'm interested in. that is why MP is so configurable.
