Dreambox blasting??? (2 Viewers)

It's Dreambox unsoported by ir server suit??? The list of stb pre loaded with pluguin appers Dreambox 7000, but don't work.
The ir flash the commands to stb, but Dreambox don't change channels.

I read Tazman post and have similar problems.

Dreambox it's supoorted or not??? It's posible change channels with TCP/IP or HTTP???

Hi there,

If the quick-setup option does not work then I will remove it.

Have you tried using the "Learn" function to teach the commands from your remote control?

Also, I am working on supporting the DreamBox by TCP/HTTP but this is not ready yet. I hope to have something that people can test soon.

Hi Aron;

The Learn fuction don't work with dreambox remote.

I put 2 ir ?(port1 and port2) with mce reciver and both don't reciver commands from dream remote, appers Learn Ir timed out message.

If you need more test, ask me please

when learning you need to put the remote very close to the black box (receiver).

The remote needs to be within about 6cm or roughly 2 inches.

If that doesn't work then you might need to wait for me to finish porting the code from the dreambox plugin into IR Server Suite.

Hello!!!!

I learn digits 1....9, and 3 colors (blue,green an red).
Yelow, Ok, Menu, imposible learn, the red led in reciver flash, but not learn commands.
I create a macro called Dreambox, but don't work. If i Test manually digits, Ir sends commands but don't change channels.

Dreambox it's special , any test????

Pd: I test more options, I re-learn digits with other remote (harmony 525), I maped buttons.....
The results: Only work digit 3, the rest ogf buttons learn ok, but when send commands to dreambox only work digit 3.

Whats the problem??? I learn digit 3 with same process to the rest of digits, and Harmony 525 works perfect!!!!

hmmm, this is very strange ... can you send me your .IR files ? They are in the Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IR Server Suite\IR Commands

I'll take a look and see if I can find the problem...

Hopefully I'll have a HTTP method available soon too ...

Those commands look a little weird ... perhaps the protocol it uses is not reproducible by the MCE device. The MCE device only has 50 microsecond resolution, there is at least 1 protocol I know of that cannot be reproduced by the MCE device, this could be it...

Perhaps just wait for the HTTP control... it would be more reliable that IR anyway ...

I hopefully will get some time to finish it off tomorrow.
