jazzyb;

that's because it's a process plugin, it should be exactly doing that!
You have to edit a xml and integrate where you would like it, read the first post...

....

isn't it possible to make them "invisible" ?
like the visible-code <visible>-</visible>

...that only those drives are screened which wehre in use (depending on the config)...

I asked the same question a while ago - hopefully someone has come up with an answer...

Hi,

Great plugin! Just a little problem that anybody seems to have met before...

The drive that I would like to show with the plugin is a mapped network drive. It's a network sharing on my TVserver machine. The goal is to now if I can record more tv shows or if I have to delete...

But when I reboot my client, no information is given into MP. I've got first to go on the mapped drive with the windows explorer and then the information appears into MP.

Is there someone who knows a way to automatically re-mount the drive on windows start ? (a dos cmd or something else)

Thank you

Hi TiboTv,
the next version of HTPCInfo supports monitoring of up to 3 network shares (drive size, used space, ...) and will be published in approximately 2 weeks. Until this please be patient.
Joz has actually only an early beta version and checks some functionalities for me.

Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

Hi,

I've just upgraded from Mediaportal 1.02 to 1.1 RC4, and the only thing I'm having issues with is the Drive Free Space plugin.

I guess the first question to ask is, is this plugin compatible with MP 1.1 RC4? If so then can anyone help me with my issue?

I'm using the Indigo skin version 3.3. I've copied the following text from my old settings.xml into the new one:

<control>
<description>Drive space</description>
<type>label</type>
<id>1</id>
<posX>320</posX>
<posY>85</posY>
<width>500</width>
<label>#Drives(C).AvailableSpace.Data</label>
<visible>yes</visible>
<textcolor>ffa9d0f7</textcolor>
</control>
<control>
<type>image</type>
<id>1</id>
<posX>320</posX>
<posY>190</posY>
<width>200</width>
<height>12</height>
<texture>osd_progress_background_small.png</texture>
<visible>yes</visible>
</control>
<control>
<type>progress</type>
<description>progress</description>
<id>20</id>
<posX>310</posX>
<posY>190</posY>
<width>225</width>
<height>12</height>
<texturebg>-</texturebg>
<label>#Drives(C).AvailableSpace.UsedPercentage</label>
<lefttexture>now_playing_progress_left.png</lefttexture>
<midtexture>now_playing_progress_mid.png</midtexture>
<righttexture>now_playing_progress_right.png</righttexture>
<visible>yes</visible>
</control>

See the attached screenshot to see what I get when I go to Settings in MediaPortal.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

    Plugin should work on RC4, you can always check the logs for any errors and paste it here..

    I haven't maintained this in a long time now as much more complete plugin is now available, called HTPCInfo..

    The skin code looks good, perhaps you should reconfigure the plugin using MePo configuration, if that doesn't work, then the plugin is broken on RC4. I could provide a new build, but you should also take a look at HTPCInfo..
