Hi,

hoping someone can help.
Yesterday I booted up MP, went into TV Series, and after about a 30 second wait, tv series exclaimed "NO ITEMS!"
upon a slight panic, i checked, and all the files are still there.

in the config, the library is empty, and it wouldn't import the library again.

looking at the db3 file (8.8MB) it looks as if it's still holding all the data.

confused.

tv series ver: 2.6.9.1369
mp ver 1.1.2.0

anyone have any crazy ideas short of deleting the library file and starting again?

My guess is there is some corruption of the database...logs will tell us that. If thats the case you will need to delete the DB and start again. You maybe able to export your watched flags before doing that.

cool, just had a look at the DB with the browser, and everything's intact... which is interesting. it just seems the data isn't being read by the application.
as easy as it is to start all over again (even when exporting the watched flags(good idea)) i'd love to know what caused it so i can avoid a re-occurrence....

We can't guess what's wrong with your system, you'll need to post logs!

    good point (now attached)
this log was generated today on boot, WITHOUT starting the plugin.

Looks as if it's failing whenever trying to do a commit on the DB?

Yep, definitely corruption. Looks like the best thing to do is export your watched flags, then delete your db.

Once you re-import you can import your watched flags.

is there any documentation on exporting/importing the watched flags? i can likely figure it out but wouldn't mind some kind of walk-thru :D

    Cheers guys

In the config under the General tab just click "export watched flags" and choose where to save it, and after rescan import them back in with the option "import watched flags"

I've had the exact same problem a few times, so now I make backups of my database on a regular basis..
