    Right click volume/speaker icon in lower right corner of screen, playback devices. make sure HDMI is default, click properties make sure everything is ok there. Also AFAIK DTS-HD is handled by the GPU chipset drivers, so make sure you are using either the latest amd display driver.

    EDIT: Basically what vasilich said.

    Also - I think you need HDMI1.3+ spec cable, so if your HDMI cable is really old (pre 2006ish) it might not work ;p

    Hi,

    On the windows sound manager my onkyo is ok and the option dts hd is present.
    My cable is ok. Its ok with my bluray samsung and the same cable.
