My config for Winfast DTV 2000 H

I've been reading this forum myself, hoping that a straight answer for my "Unable to create graph" problem could be cured.

I tried serveral varitaions on what you guys had suggested by unfortunatly with no avail. So as someone else pointed out on here, they tried rebuilding their graph.

So I decided to do the same. And now the darn thing works :D but I did notice one thing, that I will point out after the following code.

Code:
  <capturecard commercialname="Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 H (Digital) 4-0-112-3221" capturename="WinFast DTV2000 H BDA Transport Stream Capture" devid="ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665e107d&rev_05">
    <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="true" sw="false" bda="true"/>
    <tv>
      <interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/>
      <filters>
        <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider"    checkdevice="false"/>
        <filter cat="tunerdevice" name="WinFast DTV2000 H BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod" checkdevice="false"/>
        <filter cat="capture" name="WinFast DTV2000 H BDA Transport Stream Capture" checkdevice="false"/>
      </filters>
      <connections>
        <connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice"	sinkpin="0"/>
        <connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice"     sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture"		  sinkpin="0"/>
      </connections>
    </tv>
  </capturecard>

mce="true" is set to true for a start, not sure if that actually done the job, but does this setting mean "MCE compaitble card"? if so, the DTV 2000H is.

If it is just that, then maybe you should change this in your own CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and try it out.

And, by the way, the 2000 H is now the only card in my config file as I only have the one TV card in my system anyway.

MediaPortal-svn--05-13-2007--01-00-Rev14590
Leadtek Winfast DTV 2000 H Drivers (4-0-112-3221-WHQL)
Winfast DTV Version: (DVBTAP.exe) 2.0.1.86 (Came with card on CD)
Winfast PVR Version: (WFTV.exe) 3.0.10.93 (Came with card on CD)

Best of luck and hope that information atleast helps someone.

I think I'm back to square one with this!!!
I decided to do an xp reinstall hoping that a few issues that I was having would be resolved but now after installing mp, I've been getting the 'unable to create graph' shit again.

It looks like I can get analogue (it's scanning channels now) but not digital.
I was wondering if in the capture card def's, the code should be the same for analogue and digital entires eg. ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665e107d&rev_05 ?

Even better can someone please put up their card def's file
(for a WinFast DTV2000 H) so I can just save it over the top of mine and be sure it works. This is the last go before I completely give up on this stupid htpc idea ........................AAAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

I have the same problem, it's a problem with media-portals definitions, not you. I've tried to fix it and gave up and I am just using the stuff that cames with the program WinFast PVR2. It works nice.

I have an WinFast TV2000 XP though. I get that stupid "unable to create graph"

OK, sorry for the late update on this... I am now totally baffled. As my post stated above that it's fixed, I'm not quite sure now.

I thought I'd give installing WinfastPVR2 (latest version to date) another shot, yeah, it worked, yes media portal worked, but as soon as I tried to rescan for channels (digital) I got the same old outcome: Unable to create graph :(

Just what is going on here?!?! I hope someone from the project team is on the ball with this one because Media Portal is a nice little package and is maturing and I dont really want to uninstall it!

So in reply to my own post, I got a semi-fix, but not a full one. When I decide to try battling this problem again (unless it's been solved already), I will post the results.

Kworld PVR-TV 883 Unable to create graph for this device

I have the same problem. I keep getting the graphing error when i try to run television setup. Can anyone point me in the direction in how to fix this device? I am fairly technically savvy, i just have not seen much that has been directly related to this device. I do know the card has the CX2388xx chipset (or something like that). I have the software that came with the card working perfectly. I have also tried wdmmiscutils2.73 and it works well. Can anyone please help me? I do not want to turn to snapstream.

Thanks for any reply.

with turgalens definiton, I managed to get analogue part working, BUT now I cannot figure how to get audio, and how to record without problems. Audio works flawlessly in winfast PVR software, and recording too. In mediaportal, there is simply no audio, and video looks choppy, whatever video/audio filters I set. When recording, using timeshifting, picture simply freezes and I can record just 1 second. Any help on that would be nice. Thanks!
