OK, I'm glad that I came upon this post, I have a similar setup (an 250 and 150) and I had the same problem. Here also disabling one card got me going.

I hope it will get fixed soon, because there are a lot of BeyondTV users (with WinTV cards) looking around after seeing the feature list for 4.0. And a lot of them have dual cards.

    Thanks.

    any news about this bug?

I'm a PVR-350 user and I just ordered a second tv-card (PVR-150)... and now I stumble over this post and my excitement about my new card is vanishing...

AFAIK not yet. The bug is in Mantis here, so you can track any updates to it if you like.

Since the bug is assigned and has severity=major and priority=high, I guess it'll be fixed some time soon. As soon as it's fixed, you might want to try out a CVS snapshot from after that date.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hi dman,

thanks its being worked on it! :)

Tried CVS from this morning (01-07-2006--09-15.rar).

    Results:

Both cards work now. But there are some issues...

    1) Setup:
    PVR 350 prio 5
    PVR 150 prio 2

Timeshifting with PVR 350 and recording with 150 works very well!
Log with PVR 350 high prio

    2) Setup:
    PVR 350 prio 1
    PVR 150 prio 2

Timeshifting with PVR 150. MP crashes to reboot after short time in My TV.
Log with PVR 150 high prio

    3) Quality settings seem not to work. I have set both cards to "medium":

    Hi,

an addtion to point 2) "crashing with 150 high prio":
This is because of the Hauppauge Remote Control!
See here for that problem. No crashing if I turn off the remote...

So it is not related to your changes, they do work very well for me! :)

Thanks for your great work! :D :p

    Hi DMAN,

    thanks for asking back! :)

    Which issue do you mean?

    dual
A mix of PVR 350 and 150 work with the latest CVS

    remote crash
No crashes with the HCW control in the latest CVS

    quality settings
Does not fully work with latest CVS!

Settings for both cards. Use quality control, standard: medium.

    PVR 150
    - normal recording: MP does not set standard quality setting, uses windows setting instead
    - explicitly setting medium quality: does work!

    PVR 350
    - normal recording: MP does not set standard quality setting, uses windows setting instead
    - explicitly setting medium quality: does work!

So only the selection of the "standard" quality does not seem to be taken.

    Still FAILED messages in log:
