DVB Radio - Strange Behaviour (1 Viewer)

Two weird things are happening with my DVB radio stations. I'm using StreamedMP by the way.

1) If I only have an "All Channels" group then I get no groups appear in the listing, so I can't choose a radio station. If I make a second group, say called "Music", then both "All Channels" and "Music" appear.

2) For some reason ALL of my channels are appearing in "All Channels", even the unticked ones! That's not how it works for TV so I'm sure that's not how it's meant to work for radio!

3) Some stations are just blank. Even ones on the same transponders as those that work (e.g. Absolute Classic Rock and Absolute 90s don't work but Absolute 80s and Absolute Radio do - all of these are on 11224V). I've double checked their settings and they are definitely right! Even if they were wrong, they all match so either they should all work or none of them should work.

    Hi DragonQ

    Thanks for reporting.
Regarding 1: I'll check this in the default skin when I get home.
Regarding 2: again, I'll check but if you are unticking in the main radio channel list and have restarted MP after doing so and they still appear then I guess that would be a bug.
Regarding 3: what format is the audio, and have you tried different codecs? Try making a recording and see if the recording can be played in VLC or similar - that would tell us if the problem is server or client side. Further than that, logs would be required.

Had a play with the Radio plugin settings. Basically the "Show All Channels" tickbox does nothing. I have it unticked and still see my two groups ("Music" and "Talk Radio & Sports") plus "All Channels".

I fixed (3) by reinstalling ffdshow.

Regarding 3: the use of the same audio codec is no guarantee that all stations would be compatible with a single codec. Each station has the ability to use different encoding and compression options which ultimately determine compatibility. Glad you got it sorted.
