i have now tried the TVe3 for some weeks, using several svn. Actually im using the svn´s from 30th of August.
i have never been able to find any channels with USB- DVB-T Sticks. Each scan was finished without any recieve.
i tried the hauppauge nova-td and also a pinnacle 200e.
i have to say that also in the manufacturers sw i got no signal at all.
using an external settop-box and the USB-Antenna it was no problem at all to get all channels.
so the signal is there but it seems i cant get it into my USB port.
does anyone have any clue what to try next?

Does this mean that you have installed drivers and you actually can see your card in TV server?

If they are usb2 devices and you have a usb1.1 device plugged in to another usb2 connector on your pc this may stop things from working, try moving to another usb connector preferably one not on the front panel.

This is all assuming that you can see your tuner in device manager, so it has installed correctly.

yes, they were both installed correctly using the latest drivers and did show up correctly in the tv server. i can also start a scan but nothing is found and there is no recieving during the scan.

the thing with the USB ports of 1.1 and 2.0 is a good idea but i tried the stick at the front and also at the back with no change....i will give it another try just to be sure

if anyone has another tip
please feel free to post... ;o)

Just reread this and spotted above, settop boxes are far superior reception wise than any PC card and will pick up relatively weak signals, i take it from above that you also have a external aerial (on the roof or near as) for receiving your channels as well as trying the "USB-Antenna " which even if your pretty close to the transmitter pc reception wise are next to useless.

i have the same problem when i select any austrian region in the scanning screen. but when i select "germany - all regions" i get the orf and atv channels(plus a couple german stations).

Check tuning-parameters in file dvbt.xml for you region.
