Ok this has only highlighted itself because of the Clocks change in the UK and also a lot of Broadcasters scheduled changes but it looks like the EPG grabber doesn't update changes that may be present in the new grab compared to what is in the database.

The grab just removes old days out of date information and adds in new days information but doesn't check for schedule changes .

Can someone else confirm this .

There are no logs because the present code for the EPG grab isn't realy doing anyhting wrong, it just isn't coded to do the checking !?

I can't confirm this directly. But I can somehow confirm that once there is information inside the epg, it is not updated/checked.
I can see that when programming a recording in the epg, and the tv show will start later. MP does start at the scheduled time, and the show won't be recorded to the end.
A nice feature would be, that mp would compare the stored epg data wih the actual data 1/2 hour before a recording starts and everytime you watch one channel. I don't know how much cpu time this would take, as updating the epg seems to take lots of cpu time.
