Hi there,

I got this problem when scanning for the channels: encrypted channels are found, but the FTA-channels are not found. preview of the encrypted channels works like a charm.

I'm in the Netherlands (Provider: Digitenne) the channels i'm missing are NED1, NED2, NED3 and the regional channal + the FTA radio channels.

I found a post on this forum somewhere, stating that the addition of the carrier frequency 482000 should solve this. tried it -> TV server scans the freq, but finds nothing.

Maybe more frequencies are missing from the dvbt.xml?

Anybody having similar problems, or better ;) have a solution?

(I need proper working tv for the WAF ;) )

Thanks!!!

For the knowledge base:

I fixed it by answering my own question :) ... the frequency 706 was missing in the "netherlands - all regions" section in the dvb-t xml.

How i solved it:

I used the FireDTV Viewer that came with the FireDTV Card to scan for channels. (Must say it does a much faster job scanning than MP-TV Server) in the list of found channels, the carrier frequencies are also stated.
I Added these frequencies to a new section in the dvbt.xml. (only the ones used, which makes scanning very quick)
As a result TV Server found all the 44 tv and radio channels.

Greetings
