Hi has anyone else experienced this? I think it's been happening for about the last month now but not really worried about it till lately. When I try to play any of my dvb=t radio stations I get the following message - Unable to start timeshifting, no video/audio detected. The stations were detected ok and dvb-t tv works fine so bit of a mystery!

Thanks

Hmmm, seems if I do a new channel scan it works for a short period but then after going into live tv a few times it stops working with the same message again. Is it something the tv server is doing in the background?

Looking at todays svn tv server updates hoped this might be fixed but still not working. Did complete rescan. Even got tv channels showing in preview window when went into my radio and tried to play radio after watching tv! If no tv started got same message about 'Unable to start timeshifting, no video/audio detected' when trying to listen to radio. Also all radio channels names been replaced with just numbers 1 - 29 although still listing them as names under radio mapping and epg grabber! Presume this is still a WIP frodo? Let me know if you need any other info?

Thanks

I had the problem with the radio channels showing up as numbers instead of the actual name of the station.

This fixed it:

1. I stopped the tv-server and removed the database.
2. Restarted the tv-server.
3. Made a fresh rescan of channels.
4. Check the Radio stations they should now have the right names again.

I have no problems starting Mediaportal and go straight in to the radio view and start to listen to channels.

Hi,

tried what you said and physically deleted the tv database. Rescanned and exactly the same is happening re numbers instead of names appearing. Also can't sort the radio channels but this may be a related problem. Only hapens with latest svn.

Sorry I was looking at the wrong radio channel list. The names are present in the "Radio EPG grabber" but not in the radio list. The radio list does only have numbers and I cannot sort the radio channels in the Radio channel list either.

this has been fixed in the upcoming SVN build of mediaportal.
Note.. it requires an update of Mediaportal to listen to DVB-T radio

Oops spoke too soon! Just tried both latest MP and tvserver svns and still getting radio stations appearing as numbers in the channel list in the server configuration although the names appear correctly in the client and although seem to get audio more often as soon as I switch to another radio station the sound breaks up and starts 'skipping'

    thanks
