Trying to set up Subtitles for my live DVB-T streams in Australia. The recordings I make play fine with subs in VLC. I can get some text up using teletext 801 but it only gets one line of text every four or so which is not very helpful. Recording don’t play subtitles very well either. DVD rips playing subtitle nicely (I have VLC selected for all media file except .ts and .dvr-ms as this seemed to break video playback.
Anyway anyone know how to get subs working? or know if I need the subtitle filter for 1.0.2? (and if so have a quick how to get the subtitle filter going)
This is for my family some of whom are deaf so it’s important for them to have the subs. It important for me as otherwise they have the volume up LOUD and I might join them.
