Current CVS still does not handle encrypted channels correctly.
I don't know if it will be fixed in the release, thats up to agree.

    But,
for a first beta I'm really impressed!
Was great watching TV, have it scan the sat, recording stuff and timeshift!

hmm, its not about encrypted channels (Vox,RTL2,N-TV are all FTA^^)
Have this problem with all FTA-channels, maybe I plug the card to my htpc now and test it there.

sorry, buit i'm generally stuck here maybee it has something to do with something to do which we call here "Glühwein" in Germany, but i have no idea what to choose in the settings menu. I'm stuck on the Card Config Tab and iI don't know what to choose for Satelites. Damned "Glühwein" with Rum......

I think you are "besoffen", fuck off Glühwein - I like Kristall-Weizen;)

don't say that, two totally different things, for different locations... :)
But my head tells: Next time drink less :)

Another problem: Streching is ok when activating timeshifting.

If timeshifting ist deactivated you only get a 4:3 picture with black bars on a 16:9 Plasma!!

thats because some codecs do not allow AR changing on overlay.
and without timeshift we use overlay

so this is a general issue. not directly related to this plugin.

in vmr9 the default zoom mode is use you set in setup.
    Pressing S should work.

    very strange...:?: :?:

ok, I put the SS2 in my real htpc. Same OS, same Codecs, same dx9+framework, same ss2-driver, the basic installation is the same. And here it works. Channel-scan, Timeshift are no problem and working great without these messages or lockups. I use now the Nvidia Codec (the ImageQuality seems to be lower than with WinDVD6), others dont work for now. :D
