Philips 7146 support requires the SDK to be made available which I don't think is easy to come by so we'll have to see what happens here.

Hi DMAN, i pointed this out earlier, but I found a site with source code for accessing the Philips 7146..
Take a look here: http://home.tiscali.nl/m.majoor/projects__dvb_s.htm
So hopefully Agree can look into this after he finished SS2 support? :) *hint* ... :)

BTW, agree, care to give us a status update on your plugin?? Really curious what you're working on right now and what your plans are for the rest..
Me myself can't wait for multidec plugin support so I can use my poorman cam and phoenix adapter to really ditch MyTheatre and use MP as my default TV app..
As for maybe a feature request: MHW epg data support.. So MP will be the only one supporting this 7 day EPG format out of the box :). But hey, one thing at a time ofcourse :p (MHW I also have some sources for (in delphi tho))..

Agree has been working on plugin support and got it working allready.
Not for general use yet though.
While doing this he was struck by an idea to get dvb-s working on all sat cards without the need of having all the sdk's of those cards.

He is now working on this idea I believe.

Hmm, that's interesting, very curious if he's going the BDA approach aswell or maybe using dvbcore?
    I couldn't image any other idea :)
That also figures why i didn't see any updates lately to CVS.

Ah well, as long as it's gonna support multidec plugins, I'm a happy camper :)

Agree is not going the BDA route - this is being done by BionicDonkey & Frodo (work in progress at the moment).

Re: 0.1.0.3 Error on configuring Skystar 2 "Object refe

    Dear friends,
I was looking forward to try out the new SS2 support. Unfortunately I get an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object " when I try to scan a channel in the configuration. I followed the docu on the wiki and I also checked the various hints given in this threads. So setup4pc is running (green) - progdvb is working, the newest driver 4.3.0 are used and the dvblib.dll is only in c:\windows\system32.

The detailed error message reads as follows

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Can anybody help ?

your not the only one, got this problem today once more after a complete reinstall. Works perfect before. Agree, would be nice if you can focus on that problem or give some advice what can be wrong or missing. Btw: same problem with latest CVS

Will the BDA route also implement Multidec Plugin support??
And if I'm not mistaken, BDA doesnt support disecq right?

U have an SS2? If so, what u want with BDA? There are no Drivers for BDA and SS2. In generall DVBs-Support with BDA dont run 100% at this time, please search the web for those topics.

Plugins: Plugin-Support is nearly done, remaining one problem with Timeshifting.

    Hi all,

if you get problems with an Channel-Scan after new install of Windows like high, so please register the Filter "mpeg2data.ax" (in Windows\System32) with REGSVR32.EXE.

    Hey agree,

Well I do have a SS2 but I also have a Nova-s (in other pc) and know someone with a nova-t. So was asking more cause I was just curious. Indeed, for myself with the SS2 I don't need the BDA way... But agree, what's what mario mentioned about a way to support more cards? Nova-s will be supported natively too ? (see post mario64 on this page)

Hope to see the plugin support soon! thnx agree :)
