You will be able to record and watch or use PIP with 1 card!
As long as the channels are on the same transponder

Skyavc filter is the best for speed and stability especially on italian channels. However the done work is great.
Can i suggest (but take this as a whisper in a cave) to use open source code of mediaplayerclassic to improve player capability (in this manner you will be able to play every file format like matroska, ogm and esotic formats).

Thx a lot for the info! Can I mail with you when I got my DVB system? Without trying out what reading, it´s a bit hard to understand. Also the forum seems to be detailed. I think I first need a kind of "DVB for dummies".

But I´m (and my wife of course is) happy to hear it´s possible.
