DVD Navigator is..errhh...DVD Navigator. I didn't know there are other Navigators to use in MP...are those freeware?

With PowerDVD codecs you should be using PowerDVD navigator (PowerDVD 8 navigator is not currently compatible with MP).

i see, thanks! so you would recommend using PowerDVD 7 Navigator? can i install the v7 navigator without installing the whole PowerDVD 7 package?

EDIT: i upgraded to the latest SVN. It works now. Of course, i now have other problems...damn it! :)

I am having this issue now with RC3. I have had it in the past and when I uninstalled Powerdvd 7 it worked fine.
This time it only started happening when I installed Arcsoft Total media theater.
It doesn't matter what codec I choose it always acts the same. It doesn't matter if I use EVR or shut off DXVA.
No button will highlight until I select a direction on the remote and then the highlighted item is always one step behind actual.
I am going to install PowerDVD 7 again and see if changing the navigator helps.
I already tried a complete uninstall of MP with a complete reinstall with no luck.

Check with the GraphEdit if Arcsoft's directshow filters are loading up in the graph.

    No fix yet?

After reading this thread it doesn't seem like a fix is on the horizon.

I was having no issues at all and then I installed PowerDVD 7.3 BD so I could have Blu-Ray playback and the DVD navigation cursor went bye-bye.

    Setup
    Windows XP SP3
    MP 1.0 RC3
    PowerDVD 7.3 BD

    Codec in use
    Cyberlink DVD Navigator (PDVD7)
I have tried DVD Navigator and have tried clicking "Turn off DxVA" with both navigators

I hope someone is looking into this.

    Thank you for any assistance.

    David
