Everything is working, even DXVA after a lot of struggeling except DVD playback.

Hi,

i'm having touble with DVD playback; after inserting a DVD MP asks me what to do. When a DVD is inserted and the "Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD9)" encoder is selected the screen goes black but i hear sound in the background from the DVD intro or something alike. However when I select the Microsoft MPEG-2 Video Decoder the DVD plays good?
Tho i havn't figured out yet how to go back to basichome in MP whilst the DVD menu is opened; anything i should know? I'd prefer to use Cyberlinks decoder tho.
Now when I want to open a DVD through basichome, the screen goes black and freezes, and I need to kill MP.
This happens with both decoders. The DVD shortcut plugin is activated in MP.

I've attached the logs.

Thanks in advance.

Your LOGs are OK, correct decoders are in use).

Try to:

- install some on-the-fly DVD decrypter (look on google)
- Disable DXVA

The problem is fixed, thank you hoborg.

So what did I do to fix this:
-Updated the Catalyst drivers to 9.4
-Installed AnyDVD HD (great app!)
-Turned off DXVA for DVD playback in MP

Hmm... will definitely try that, thanks! Still, I'd love to have DXVA working for DVD in MP.

    I know, I know, greedy, aren't I?
