EEE box 206 remote (1 Viewer)

I bought a eee box 206 yesterday. It came with a remote, the remote is philips srm 5100 but the dongle (ir reciver) is something else. asus own stuff. Is it anyone that have got this working? By now i have tried everything. If i check "use general hid devices" in mediaportal it recognize play, pause, stop, ff, fb, but not info or skip forward skip back. Can someone please help me out here?

I finaly managed to fix this.

I used autohotkey and this scripts Keyboard Media Keys (for USB HID devices!)

Note that you only need to remap info, next and previous buttons

This is exactly what I'm looking for as well.
I just got a hold of a B206 and wanted to use the bundled remote instead.

However I'm quite a noob when it comes to this kind of thing, do you think you could give a step by step instruction for a less forunate fellow?

Not spent much time @ this (not my damn HTPC ), but it seems that getting the [eee] button = [Start/Green Button] wasn't doable. Did you manage this?

I jsut tried @ a test PC, not the eeebox, but I guess I have to uninstall drivers first before doing this - or?

I have no idea how this works and I'm envy at you getting most of it to work anyway.
If you have the tome, do you think you could do a simple step by step guide how to use this autohotkey?
I have everything working except the info key on the remote and also I would like to change the power key to shut of instead of sleep.

I actually gave up (for the moment), and got a MCE-clone (HID-thingy). Will try again when I find the time.
