I have just encountered this problem with bbc three in the uk. have just changed to the ts format but there really isnt anything on i want to record at the moment.

Even if there isn't any of your favorite shows airing currently on BBC Three could you still make some small test recording in .ts format to see if it fixes the issue?

I'm not sure what SVN number you meant, but I tried with 0.2.3.0 RC1 and the problem still exists.

Using TV Engine 3 SVN 14896 ...

I still get an empty file (0 bytes) when I try to record (as mpeg) the Australian DVB-T channel "SBS Digital".

It does work when I record as a .ts file.

All other stations record correctly as either mpg or ts.

Yes, me too, got 0 length recordings when recording in mpeg, with the SVN from yesterday.

PS: I am on Freeview Crystal Palace, and it was a BBC Three recording, but Film4 also failed to record.
