EPG dates out of sync. (2 Viewers)

Hello,

I have a problem with the EPG. I have used webEPG to fill the database but all entries are one full day out of sync. So the programs which are today are in the EPG on tomorrow and for Friday they are in the EPG on Saturday etc.
Does anybody know how this happens?

    It's the information format that WebEPG is scrapping from,

    To cure, goto MP setup TV\TVGuide and set time sync +24 hrs, doing this from memory, so may not be exact wording.

    You may or may not have to delete program guide info in the same screen to update your view in MediaPortal.

    I am having the same problem. most of the TV guide info is coming from yahoo and if I use the web site the programs are on on the correct days, so i thought that the data downloaded should be right. I have tried to play with that settting but I haven't had much sucess. I can force it to move but I don't realy fully understand when various parts take efect. the manual is missing that section and I am confused as to what is happening and how to fix it.

    Check the WebEPG log file.

    What does it have listed at the top for TimeZones? WebEPG will only adjust the times from the web sites if the timezones are different. Otherwise, MP can also make time changes if something has been configured.

    I seems to be working right now anyway, Ill try not to brake it in the next few days and see how it goes.

    WebEPG out of Sync

    Hi,

    I have the same problem. The EPG is out of sync with 24 hours.

    Has someone a step-by-step "how to" for setting up German WebEPG, which really works with 0.2.2.0?

    Here is the log file, ther are several issuse in it but I don't know how to fix them. are the supplied XML files wrong?

    adding the +24 or -24 does not seem to work, it may make a diference but the programs ar always at lest a day out. maybe some channels are out of sync with others?

    I think I know why it gets out!

    on the TV guides, any program that ENDs after 12:00 midnight is counted as the next day, so when the TV grabber sees 11:00 pm as the first entry it makes everything follow that but puts 11:00 PM at the end of that day, not the start of the previous.

    I still don't know how to fix it though.

    edit: it looks like TVxB does this (special=startprevday)

    I had the same problem but not on all channels.
    What I did was first remove TVguide.xml. Then in Media Portal Setup|Television|Program Guide pressed "Remove all programs from TV database". Then run WebEPG.exe again.

    Now all channels are back in sync :)

    I can confirm, that this helps - temporarily. After the next scheduled update I have the 24h-Problem again.

    There must be a difference how the manual start of WebEPG.exe and the scheduled update work....?
