    Thanks James,

I have downloaded and tested and indeed it seems as the problem is fixed.

I am really impressed with you guys! I wish one could have the same response from all SW vendors...

    /Peter

    Hi james.

I tried to just change the webepg-files and not all of the new things in the svn build that you made, but i dont get it to work, is it not suppose to work that way or I'm I missing something, the files that I copied is the webepg.exe, webepg.dll and webepg-conf.exe, are there any more files that i have to copy or is this not possible att all, the error I get is that I cant even start any of those files, get a windows error. Hope that this is possible because I dont want to get the whole svn, because it can be unstable.

    /Juppe

    Hi Juppe,

See the wiki for a list of files required by WebEPG. This includes most of the major dlls of MP. So you cannot jst copy them over the top, but you can put WebEPG into its own directory. You will need a simple batch to copy the tv database over and the tvguide.xml file back to the normal MP directory.

    Hope this helps.

    xmltv in TVServer Similar problem

    Hi,

I'm getting a very similar problem with only one channel being off from the real time. However I use the xmltv option on the under the TVServer plugins. Will your changes to the webEPG component fix the xmltv version? ie do they use the same routine to import the xmltv file into the guide DB?

One channel here finishes at midnight on the dot which is always a problem with 24 hour clocks & dates. I have thought about changing the finish to 00:01 and testing but haven't tried that yet as the other half wont let me fiddle atm.

Using the same xmltv provider under the stable 2.2.0 on TVE2 the guide looks fine but using the SVN & TVServer from 170207 I still saw the problem.

Thanks for all the hard work and great support you all supply.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance
    Greg

I think the XMLTV grabber you are talking about is a completely independent system, the WebEPG is setup from its own setup program and not from within mediaportal (or TV server) setup. probably the same problem but in different software.

Both produce a TVGuide.xml file though don't they? This file is then read by Media Portal to create the EPG DB. So the problem may be with the import under the current svn.

As a matter of interest are you using the oztivo feed for an Australian EPG? I used to use webepg but then ninemsn start playing silly and the oztivo xmltv file seemed the most reliable 6 months ago. Has that changed?

    Thanks

    Greg

    Hi,
my EPG ist still out of sync (1 day).
I'm already using the SVN of Feb. 20th.
Cleared th EPG database, deleted TVGuide.xml and started webepg.exe.
Everything looks fine after the first import, but after the second import (at 2am) the data are out of sync again.

    Any hints?

    Thanks Joerg
