I noticed a different problem with the epg grabber that seems to be introduced some SVN's ago (i use 15327). Maybe it is somehow related.
If my TVService has been started. I can see under "Manual Control" that it tries the grab epg data.
But the status looks a bit strange. The status entry looks like:
1 DVBs idle RTL Television epg BDA Technotrend S2-3200
This strange status does not change as long as you don't request a new action (channel change...). That means it ignores the timeout value. And of course no epg data is collected.
As soon as you start and stop a timeshift (via the button under manual control or through the tv plugin) the status changes to:
1 DVBs Grapping epg RTL Television epg BDA Technotrend S2-3200
now the epg grabber works like it should be.
I will try the next build. Maybe it looks a bit better.
... got the same problem (EPG-Timeout does not stop) - but only for one provider (Astra 19,2E - MTV-Networks)
I deselected all channels (MTV/VIVA/NICK...) in the EPG-Grab setup of TVServer, and now I do not get any timouts...
Is there something special on MTV
the current SVN TsWriter _source_ doesn't has this error. But the TsWriter.ax (2007-08-14) currently shiped was build without checking out your last fixes.
So please checkout current TSWriter source build TsWriter.ax and check it in.
Thanks,
just recompiled the sources -> the resulting TsWriter.ax was different in size , so i committed the new TsWriter.
Will be available in rev 15639
