I installed MP 1.30 on Windows 7 Ultimate a couple of weeks ago, and configured the TV server to work with my Blackgold DVB-T2 tuner card. I'm using the DVB EPG. After installation the EPG looked fine, but today I noticed that the EPG is empty - it doesn't seem to have downloaded any data recently. How can I diagnose this??
Internet connectivity from the machine is fine.
[Edit] I have Power Scheduler set to wake the system for EPG grabbing 3 times a week. I also have "Store data only for selected channels" enabled, and have selected about 12 channels

Have you got epg gabbing whilst timeshifting, enabled?

If not maybe it just hasn't had enough down time to download new epg data when you haven't been watching tv.

I've just enabled EPG grabbing while timeshifting (it wasn't enabled previously). I then refreshed the EPG manually from the TV Server Config but it still didn't pull any data.
Do I need to be watching TV for the guide Data to be downloaded?? i.e. if I haven't watched TV on MP for the last 2 weeks does that mean it won't have downloaded any EPG data?

Can you post a screenshot of the setting from the DVB EPG screen in the MP Config?[DOUBLEPOST=1364916915][/DOUBLEPOST]If you have grab EPG whilst idle and Grab EPG whilst timeshifting then it will cover both possibilities.

I also have Always try to update existing entries ticked.

Tick the Grabbing whilst Idle option as well. This should sort it out.

If that doesn't work then try unticking the CRC check (whilst leaving grabbing whilst timeshifting, grabbing whilst idle and fill holes checked.)

I have the same issue here, with a dual tuner setup (Mystique Satix S2 Dual + CI) the grabbing while timeshifting seems not to work at all since the 1.3.0 update. Yesterday I decided to reinstall my TV server but still it isn't working.

As soon as the timehifting stops the EPG grabber starts. If the EPG grabber is running and I start to watch a channel it stops grabbing, even if the second tuner is free for the grabber.

    Settings:

In the General area all except "Grab EPG only for channels on same transponder"

EPG grabbing while timeshift enabled with timeout 2 minutes and EPG grabbing while idle enabled timeout 10 minutes and refresh every 240 minutes.

The EPG log shows nothing while timeshifting, when all tuners are free the grabber runs and shows normal activity in the log.
