Did you update the GPU driver or otherwise connect, disconnect, turn on, turn off, or do something with your screen configuration? I suspect this is related to your dual screen thing.

Nope, didn't update any drivers. The TV is switched between my RPi and the PC with a manual DVI switch but I'd been switching between them before when it was happening, so no change there.
