I'm glad that the episode management is back, however in the past days I had two situations where it still deleted files which it sould not have deleted (IMO). Here's the details:
I let the daily news (Tagesschau) record daily and keep one episode. This works straight forward, as it should. It creates a file e.g. Tagesschau--2008-02-24-20-00.ts and deletes it the next day after the recording finishes.
However sometimes the EPG grabbing is not up to date and there is no EPG information available. In such a case the recording still starts, but it will call the file manual--2008-02-24-20_00.ts. At the end of this recording the bug appears: It deletes previous recordings called 'manual' instead of 'Tagesschau'. If - as in my case - at this point in time I have one or more other recordings which were also recorded when no EPG data was available then these recordings are deleted, even though they didn't belong to the same series.
I add a logfile which shows this deletion (line 475).
