    Hi,

    I'm getting this error.log each time I stop tvservice:

    Code:
    2010-11-24 10:19:57.835646 [(13)]: Exception   :System.ArgumentException: Service TvEngine.Events.ITvServerEvent is not registered
       en TvLibrary.Interfaces.ServiceProvider.Get[T]()
       en iPiMPTranscodeToMP4.TVEngine.iPiMPTranscodeToMP4.MyStop()
       en TvService.Service1.StopPlugins()

    I'm using last iPiPM 5.1.0.

    Thanks!

    I'll see if I can tidy this up for the next version of the Transcode plugin - it's not a big issue as it only reports when closing TV Server. The plugin will probably be removed for the next version anyway - no need to transcode the files if we have live streaming. I would still maintain it as a standalone TV server plugin though.

    I don't understand why do you say transcoding it's not needed... If I want to see livetv or recordings remotely, video must be transcoded to "fit" my upload adsl bandwidth (800 kbps max) ... ¿?

    The iPiMPTranscodeToMP4 plugin is no longer needed to stream tv recordings. It has been replaced with the SmoothStreaming functions in iPiMP 5.1.0 Don't worry, streaming live Tv & recordings will still be there in the next version.

    Ok... Just that "stream" doesn't mean allways "transcode"... you can stream a video with no transcoding... :p I just want to be sure that iPiMP won't lose hability to transcode to fit poor adsl upload bandwidths...

    Thanks for all man!
