TV-Server Version:
MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0
Windows Version: Vista Home Permium UK
CPU Type: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400
HDD: 1T
Memory: 4Gb
Satelite/CableTV Provider: Ziggo
HTPC Case: Shuttle

This morning my preview time for Ziggo was expired, so i had to activate my smartcard. In order to update my system, i deleted all channels, started a channel scan and created e couple of groups to place the diffenten channels.

After MediaPortal, MP shows me a messays with the following error:

Exception Error: The number of returned rows 0 did not match the expected count of 1.
If concurrency control is enabled this may indicate that the record was updated or deleted by another process.

After that:

TV starts normally and i can see all the channels i expected.
I can start DVD's, Show pictures.... everything seems to work good.
However, i cannot close the errormessage.

Hope for some reactions!

Thnx

Pieter

    have you fixed your error?

because I am getting exactly the same error, now that I deleted and rescanned my channels.... please, anyone?

    What I did:
    - exported channels/groups to export.xml
    - deleted all channels
    - rescanned all channels
    - mapped channels to groups
    - mapped epg channels (DVB, and TVMovie)
    - Restared TVserver
    - Start Mediaportal
    - wait a few seconds in home-screen
The error (jit-Pop up Window) after klicking it away for a few times, everything is working....

edit: I deleted and imported my old channels/groups again-> still the same error.

    cheers

    ok, I fixed this myself:

the problem was the recordings database/table. It somehow got corrupted, but I also remember that I hit the button "delete files that are not available anymore" (translated from german.... :) )

What I did to fix the error: I opened the table with sqlmanagement studio, opened the table "recordings" and deleted all entries.
Afterwards I imported my recordings back, by pushing the button import in TVserver config.

    hope this helps someone....

    cheers

    Hello,

Had the same error on 2 of 3 MP clients....
Month ago i proposed to delete a whole db and create new, now i can tell much easier solution as above.

    1. Rename your RECORINGS dir
    2. On TVServer config press REMOVE no longer existing files.
    3. Rename RECORDINGS dir back to old name.
    4. Import all recordings

    That's it.

    Cheers,
