Problem: With the latest TV server/MediaPortal SVN, I am totally unable to timeshift.
Steps needed to reproduce.
1. Start MediaPortal
2. Enter the TV module
3. Turn on TV (I don't have it set to turn on automatically)
at this point everything works fine and is responsive.
4. Wait for 5 minutes or so, so there should be something in the timeshift buffer for when you press rewind.
5. Press rewind.
At this point, the TV picture freezes, and nothing else happens. MediaPortal has to be quit by right-clicking in the taskbar icon and selecting close. Windows reports that it was not responding.
Alternatively for steps 4 onwards you can do the following:
4. Hit the pause button - The TV picture pauses fine.
5. Wait for a few minutes.
6. Press play. The TV picture starts to play from where it left off.
7. Hit "forward fast" to try to catch up.
At this point the picture freezes as before.
Frequency: this happens every time.
Log files from when I pressed the rewind button are attached.
Hope this helps.
