TV-Server Version: SVN from 20-04
MediaPortal Version: same
MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo
Windows Version: XP
CPU Type: Athlon XP 3500+
HDD:
Memory: 512MB
Motherboard: ecs-nforce3
Motherboard Chipset:
Motherboard Bios:
Video Card: FX 5600
Video Card Driver:
Sound Card:
Sound Card AC3:
Sound Card Driver:
1. TV Card: TwinHan DTV Cab-CI
1. TV Card Type: DVB-C
1. TV Card Driver: 1.0.30
MPEG2 Video Codec: PowerDVD
On my above system, it looks to me like MediaPortal is starting faster than the TVService. The effect is the attached error log file. When i go to the TV-guide, i cannot see any channels, only "no information available". Neither can I tune to anything. Restarting MediaPortal fixes this, as on the second attempt TVServer seems to have had enough time to start.
Maybe this situation could be handled a bit more gracefully, by retrying to connect to the service after some delay.
btw: nice job, keep it up
