Hi guys

Got this in my MediaPortal.log / Error.log Logs:

2008-11-21 08:17:10.021346 [Info.][MPMain]: FileName:C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\Black & White 1080\media\fanart_videos_title\"Caraibi".jpg

(Illegales Zeichen im Pfad = Illegal character in path)

I did add the first line for debugging purposes in MP Source.
I'm relatively new to MP, and I'm not sure where the " in the filename come from?

Any ideas? Was it caused by me, or is it a "real" bug?

To reproduce it, I just open up MediaPortal (which has TV Series Plugin as well as Black & White 1080 skin, no other modifications), and go to "My Videos". I then close MediaPortal, and the Exception is in the logs.

MediaPortal does NOT crash.

I'm just worried that this can lead to performance issues an such.
(And exceptions are never nice, too.... ;) )

Thanks & Cheers
Michel

This error is a skin issue.

When you’re browsing my videos the skin tries to find a fanart in ”C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\Black & White 1080\media\fanart_videos_title\” with the movie name. This creates an error when the movie name contains characters which are illegal in your file system. For example “ in your movie “Caraibi”.

You can disregard this error.
