With LAV Filter : No problems. It's only with Microsoft codec on HD channels.

Hi. Had half hour with it. HD channel playback seems ok here. Did notice on one change video froze immediately with audio fine but changing channel away and back again and it was ok. Hasn't done it since.

    I'm on LAV also.

    Tony,

So far, so good here :)

With v56 i was occasionally having desync on LiveTV (dsound) but this version seems to keep stuff in sync again (also after a few - A/V buffers)

Can you upload a very short recording from one of the problem channels please (10 secs would be OK).

Does MP crash or just hang immediately (I can't tell from the logs) ?

    Are these IPTV channels ?

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

first of all thanks for the v56 cycle. Switching to v56e gave me the first stable TV experience on 1080i channels on Win7 with my 9400GT which seems to be the borderline HW with regards to dropped frames.

I tested v57 yesterday and heard my fan spin up during TV. When I checked I saw that the CPU load with v57 was around 50-60% although using LAV DXVA2. Went back to v56e and CPU load was between 0-10% again.

    Logs attached.

Does the same thing happen with other DXVA decoders e.g. MS-DTV or PDVD ?

Can you upload a small (10s) sample recording please ?

_Not_ happening with MS DTV Video/Audio decoders. Tested v57 with current LAV 0.50.2 before.

You still need the sample recording?

Yes please - I'd like to check it out on my systems (I haven't seen any LAV 0.50.2 DXVA2 problems with v57 and the H.264 samples I have)

Are you running AMD, nVidia or Intel GPU ?

    Tony
