What i'm experiencing is that last night the LiveTV was out of sync after the corruption (missing tsreader from that moment).
But today's playback, tried it about 6 times and a few times they same part to check but audio never went out of sync after the corruption.

Looks like there is a difference between LiveTV playback and recorded playback?

Yes - with a recording, TsReader.ax can discard/skip past the corrupted data very quickly - with live TV it has to wait for good data to arrive in real time. But I'm not sure why that should make a difference to how MP AudioRenderer behaves....

That's sounds ok, but why not take 3 seconds in buffer then? Distortion is 90% of the time less then 1 second.

That's sounds ok, but why not take 3 seconds in buffer then? Distortion is 90% of the time less then 1 second.

Because the only way of getting a 3 sec buffer with live TV is to wait 3 sec after each channel change (before showing video & audio) i.e. channel changes would take more than 3 secs - much too long....

TsReader doesn't actually control A/V sync - basically it just takes the video and audio PTS timestamp data from the broadcast stream, converts it to the correct format and adds it to the samples sent to the video and audio decoders.

It's the responsibility of the video and audio renderers to make sure that video and audio is 'presented' at the correct time relative to the filter graph 'presentation clock' (which is how A/V sync is controlled, by discarding late samples and holding early ones until the correct clock time).

Post some logs when you manage to capture the problem with live TV :)

Look back a page, didn't you get enough logs from me? :D

But I thought you said that the logs with the corruption are when playing a recording, and the audio doesn't go out of sync ?

What I need is a set of logs where the audio does go out of sync.....which set are for that situation ?

I've noticed a few issues since installing nostopmodv35. I also have Sebastii's CC path and v0084_part_DWM dshowhelper installed, but have only noticed the problems (except 5) since installing nostopmod.

    1) when starting TV/changing channel, the sound cuts out after 1-2 seconds, but only very briefly.

    2) there's some jerkiness for the first couple of seconds after starting TV/changing channel

    3) on occasions when starting TV/changing channel it takes a lot longer than usual before playback starts (happened changing to BBC2 earlier this morning, sometime after 00:19)

    4) on one occasion yesterday (10-12) I couldn't get ITV3 to start and was just getting a blank screen and then an error. I thought perhaps it had stopped broadcasting for the evening, but after a few tries I managed to get it working.

    5) whilst watching TV, sounds cuts out. This happens quite a lot (maybe 2-3 times an hour) and there's no picture breakup so I don't think it can be a signal problem. I've had this problem for some time though, so I don't believe it's related to nostopmod.
