Try it for it solves a lot of problems with wrong used cards.

@Stefan: Is this also your conclusion after testing?

I think this one is nice fix: "- When checking if the user can zap to a channel on the same transponder it is not taken into account that he will stop decoding the current channel (so it can report descrambling limit is reached)"

Hi,

RC5 with the amended dshowhelper has eased my issues with 1080i content, Cheers. I had an idea for a new recording option something like Record everytime on this channel (AM) and one for (PM). Reason being is that we have some shows which air an old episode Monday to Friday in the AM and the latest episode airs in the PM. Presently the option Mon-Fri doesn't work as on Monday the play a 1 hour episode and I always miss the last half.

I think this could be done but my understanding of this scheduling code is 0 and my C# foo aint great. What do you think?

Sorry but this can't be easily added to MP. I think this option must be made by an MP developer. Also i think to rely on AM / PM isn't a good idea as not all countries have AM / PM time but 24h time. So this option should open up another popup where you can set the time range. But my skills are not enough for this.

ForTheRecord will already do this without any problems you don't even have to specify what time the programme is on or how long it runs for. One of my kids loves Doctor Who so I have a schedule which records any programme with "Doctor Who" in the title. In the last few weeks as well as recording the regular episodes of Doctor Who it has also recorded some Doctor Who specials which were aired at strange times and I probably wouldn't have noticed on the TV Guide

If you follow the instructions 4TR is easy to set up and you'll wonder how you did without it for so long, I highly recommend it.
