The Dynamic setting has nothing to do with the TT - S3200...
You should have had some software with the CAM where you can change the CAM settings.

With my CAM (it is a different one) its is called Common Interface and it shows as a small CI logo where I can rightclick to change CAM settings...

Had a look in the Technotrend CI manual and it turns out that i should be able to change this setting in the CI part of their application. But i have used that application many times and never seen this setting, and of course, not this time either.

The settings available seems to be connected to the CAM module so perhaps i can't change this on this CAM card.

Had a chat with a guy at a Swedish forum. He had the same combination that i had, Technotrend S2-3200, Conax 4.00e CAM. He used DVBViewer though and said that it switched channels in a second or so. Sounds a bit too "optimistic" perhaps but it definitely seems like there's something that could be done at the TV-Engine side to speed things upp quite a bit.

Same problem here. I'm also using a TT S3200 but without any CAM module. Channel switching takes up to one minute. In other dvb applications like dvbViewer or TT Mediacenter channel switches in 2 seconds.
I'm running Vista x86 with BDA Driver Version 4.4.10.18. The newer (beta) Drivers causes very high CPU utilization on my system so I'cant update.

It's clearly connected to the CAM/CI decryption for me:

tv.log:

Code:
2007-07-27 06:53:18 A Controller: StartTimeShifting Sportexpressen 1518
....
2007-07-27 06:53:19 A card: WaitForUnScrambledSignal
...
2007-07-27 06:53:24 A card: scrambled, sleep 100
2007-07-27 06:53:24 A card: scrambled, sleep 100
2007-07-27 06:53:24 A card: return scrambled
2007-07-27 06:53:24 A card: channel is scrambled

Took 5 seconds for the ci/cam to return "channel is scrambled". This channel should work also.

And i've seen worse.

Another example. a bit better this time:

Code:
2007-07-27 07:31:51 E Controller: StartTimeShifting SVT HD 1853
2007-07-27 07:31:52 E card: WaitForUnScrambledSignal
2007-07-27 07:31:54 E card: return not scrambled

But, changing to another channel and back to this channel doesn't work that well

Code:
2007-07-27 07:38:45 A card: CardTune 5 SVT HD setuptv:5:-1
2007-07-27 07:38:46 A card: WaitForUnScrambledSignal
..
2007-07-27 07:38:51 A card: return scrambled
2007-07-27 07:38:51 A card: channel is scrambled

And now, the Gospel channel , low quality channel, not scrambled:

2007-07-27 07:38:36 A card: WaitForUnScrambledSignal
2007-07-27 07:38:36 A card: return not scrambled

Perhaps i need to pray a bit more often ? :)

Would be interesting to test with the Hauppague WinTV CI module. See if this is a CAM related problem. But there are people that have the same setup as i have and they say that it works fine in f.e DVB Viewer. ~2s channelswitching.

I have just reinstalled my media centre and went with Vists Basic and the TVe3.
Been working ok recently, until today when all the channels I was watching yesterday were scrambled and I can no longer access them.

I also have the technotrend S2-3200 and I use those beta drivers 5.0.0.2 I think.
