On the facadeview on a screen which displays info related to the currently selected icon, eg use B2 skin on myVideos in icon view; top right #selecteditem will show you the name of the movie. Press F9 and the movie name disappears and remains gone when you press back, it only renders again when you move to the next item in the list. This also effects #selecteditem2 and image #selectedthumb and any other fields related to the current selected facadeitem (as seen via myTVseries plugin which calls more fields)

    Hi gamejester,

I can reproduce this topic, but it is no bug. It is more like a missunderstanding. The tag "#selectedthumb" will display the currently selected item by the listview. If you hit F9 then the focus goes to an overlay window which display some dialog. This dialog now has no listitem and therefor the tag "#selectedthumb" will be set to null.

OK, so to set the relevant info from the list view even when it does not have focus I should use #title #runtime (or whatver the exact tags are called, not in front of MP right now so guessing!)

Yes, but please keep in mind that #title and #runtime are related to the currently running video and not to the selected item of the listview

hummm ok, so that is not a good solution then.
Looks like we need some value which report info about the last focused/selected item in a facdeview view for a specific DB then; so like in myTVseries plugin you can do something like #tvseries.banner and it will give you that value regardless of the fact an overlay has appeared with another list view facade; perhaps something like #myVideos.icon ??
