    Hi again

I figured the newest version might not work straight away, however I think it might have worked if you had given it a second try. It looked like the first attempt to tune TV3 was successful, but all the others after that failed because the CAM thought it was already decrypting TV3...

Anyhow, here is a second version with the new method. Hopefully this version should work better :)

    Hello,
I tried to tune *many* times with the previous version 1.4 to TV3 but no luck.

The new version worked a *little* better. :) With the 1.5 version I can tune scrambled channels but I am only able to decode one channel at the time. While recording on TV3 or Kanal5 I could not watch the other schrambled channel.

    Hi again

This could be a *big* problem. What it means is that your tuner doesn't seem to allow adding a new channel to the list that is already descrambling. I may have to go back to the way I was doing things before where I sent the full list and you saw the glitches. There are still a few minor things that we can try, but I'm not hopeful. :(

I've attached a new version with a small change to try to fix the multidecrypt. There is also some debugging for the CI menu support. Could you please try to use the CI menu and see if that works?

Thank you once again for your time and patience :)

    Thank YOU for your effort!
As long as you have ideas of how to fix it, I am your test-pilot! :)

With this dll (1.6) I got no picture at all. Tried *many* times on both Discovery and TV3.

One thing I saw with previus 1.5, was less pixelation when starting the recording. If I must choose beteen pixelation or multiple channel support my vote is on the second option.

Also, tried to open the CI-menu from within TV Server Config, but nothing came up. Had to kill the config-program to exit, "Not responding".

It is a horrible choice to have to make, and I *really* hope we can find another solution. If I had to make that choice I would also make the same choice as you. I'm going to bed now, but tomorrow evening (my time - tomorrow morning for you) I will post a couple of new builds for you to try and we will see what can be done.

    Until then, take care :)

    Hi again,

Long time since any new builds. I assume that you have been busy with real-life-stuff and more urgent business. ;)

I have the basic functions so there is no "cow on the ice" as we say in Sweden.

I just have one big wish; that you can have the basic multi tuning functions in the upcoming beta so I can try the latest approvements in the other code.

    Have a nice weekend!

    Hi melstig

Yes, I have been busy in real life, but with this issue I've actually been waiting to hear back from Terratec or Azurewave. I contacted them to request the API for implementing CI menu support. I only just heard back from Terratec, and they were *very* unhelpful. They basically said they are not interested in providing me with any information since they have their own media centre software. They don't want to support their customers using other software.:mad:

Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed that Terratec would be so narrow-minded. I guess there are no further improvements that I can make without their help, but I may have one more try at implementing the other features that I wanted to add.

The release of 1.2.0b should be quite close. If I had submitted a patch earlier then multidecrypt could have made it into 1.2.0b, but because Terratec took so long to get back to me it is now very unlikely that a patch would be accepted. Having said that, I can provide you with a patch for 1.2.0b, so feel free to go ahead and upgrade when it comes out. I'm still here. :)

    Hello mm1352000,
I hope you have a great Eastern!

Now when the 1.2.0 Beta is in Code Freeze, I hope that you have the possibility to make the H7 work for Me in that version also? :)

I am really eager to try the new version directly when it is released! I just can say "please" a couple of times, please, please, please, I hope that You can find the time to make it work :D

    Best regards

    Hi again Melstig

I'd be very happy to provide support for 1.2.0b. I'll post a version shortly after 1.2.0b is released (though you might have to remind me as there is always so much to do!).

    :)
