Good evening everyone,

when I switched to Windows 7 x64, I wanted to use MediaPortal for TV-stuff, just like on Vista x64 before, where it worked fine.
No matter what I do now, every time I want to view a channel I get the "failed to load graph" error, which does not seem to be very rare.
All the threads and their suggestions to fix this problem did not work for me.

I installed the driver for the TerraTec Cinergy S2 first, and MediaPortal V 1.0.2 second and also vice-versa.
This did not seem to help, so I tried out the latest SVN build (MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-11-14-2009 14-48h - Revision:24102.rar), but I still get the error message.
Also several reinstallations and deleted databases were of no avail.

Running MP in compability mode for vista or xp, was of no help, too.

The preview function of the TV-server reports the same error.

I hope you guys can help me with my problem, because I would like to use MP again ;).

Even more strange is, that after several reboots I could launch MP without the error and watch some TV-channels, but after closing MP and starting it again, I get this error message again.

Does anyone have an idea how this could be fixed?

Sounds like a codec problem. Are you watching MPEG4 or MPEG2 TV Stream? Maybe change your codecs or try SAF unlocked.

I had quick look @ logs, are you sure the error is included in your logs?

    Hello ReDo,

Did you switch on the same PC (re-install) or on another one?
Are you still using the same dish-LNB-receiver-cabk-DVB card combination?

On some channels I have this issue, sometimes, and it could be related to signal quality.

In my experience I have lived similar issues and now have a stable situation using FFDSHOW both on server (XP SP2) and client (Vista).
I would second the message from Kiwijunglist.

I guess my channels are MPEG 2 - streams, but where exactly can I look it up?
If it is a codec problem, why did it it play the channel then this one time?

The hardware was not changed in any way and the DVB-S-dish stayed the same, too.
When I switch to the parallel installed Vista, everything works perfectly.

Which other codec package would you recommend to me?
Alas, the SAF installation did not help.

I used this tool on my brother's Win7 MCE, to get MCE to use the PDVD8 codec instead of the default codec.
