It's somehow strange, that after restarting Windows 7 I could watch my channels without error message, but after closing MP and starting it again, the failed to load graph error shwos up again.
here is another tool for setting codec in windows 7 Shark007's FREE Codec solutions - Windows 7 codecs
have had similar problem and used this to fix it
if not the codec maybe different splitter
and run as administrator
I ran it as administrator and tried both splitters, as (is it "as" or "like?) you suggested.
But I still get the same error.
Although it is not quite as good as MediaPortal, the Terratec Home Cinema does not have these kind of problems.
I wonder, what might the answer to this riddle be?
check .ts with graph studio see if matches settings in mediaportal
download graph studio drag timeshift file into graphstudio
you could also try different codecs power dvd or mpc & and differnt audio
ffdshow or mpa
I downloaded graph studio and installed it, but how can I check the timeshift file, if MP does not connect to the channel and therefore does not create a timeshift file?
I downloaded a 720p h.264 sample in the .ts-fileformat.
Any mediaplayer I tested, had no problems with it, but when trying to play it with MediaPortal the whole playback of the file froze.
