Okay, nice. If that doesn't solve it completely we can always kindly ask the StreamedMP devs to implement something like you did with XFactor

I seem to have a problem with Fanart Handler and standby: when i resume from standby, the Fanart Handler doesn't work anymore. The fanart log shows the following when going into standby:
Fanart Handler is suspending/hibernating
Fanart Handler is stopped
However, nothing is logged when resuming from standby. I use the fanart handler version included in X-Factor R581, which is also the skin I use.

Hi cul8er,

I've installed the latest X-Factor skin a couple of days ago. I notice the new asyncronous loading on the BasicHome screen. I think it's pretty good, but I have a couple of issues with it:

1- I see the 'Loading' image, but when the image has been loaded the animation is slightly out of sync. For instance: if you are on TV Series, when the image loads you will briefly see an image from Movies before the correct image is displayed. You noly see the wrong image for short time during the image change animation, by the time the animation is finished it is correct.

2- It would be a big improvement for me if the currently selected item had it's image loaded in immediately. This would mean that the user is always greeted with a fanart image when they open BasicHome, even if the fanart for other menu items is still loading. This would of course introduce a small delay but I think it would be worth it, having to wait for the image to load in is a bit rubbish at the moment. I hope this isn't too difficult

I have some more suggestions/bugs relating to X-Factor too, but I'll post those in the correct forum.

Hey, I just installed your Plug-In and I'm really amazed. Works good!

But I have one suggestion that could improve the Fanart Handler: If I have a Song like e.g. David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Dirty South - How Soon Is Now (Original Mix) I think the plugin won't find an image for that because of so many Artists. But could you not change it the way that images of all artists on their own are shown. This means images for David Guetta, Ingrosso and Dirty South. Just shuffled. Also images of a Remixer could be added. I do not know if somethink like this is possible but it would be really cool.

Another suggestion is about the number of images to download. It would be cool if you can specify the number of images that should be downloaded for ALL artists plus the number of images for frequently used artists or just the number of images to download on the fly while listening to an artist. This is because i a big music database many images mess up the database but are never used.

Would be cool to hear from you about what you think about this suggestions. Hope you can understand because I'm no native English speaker.

The plugin works fine. Very good work!
But I have activated the screen saver. After 3 minutes of inactivity I have a black screen. So my question, is it possible that the plugin could deactivate the screen saver when it's active? I mean it should work like the video plugin what avoids the screen saver when a video is payed. When it's paused the screen saver should work. I don't want to deactivate the screen saver global.

I tested the ScreenControl plugin but it doesn't work properly. The screen server only work in Home Screen, not in plugin screens and not when playback is paused. The original screensaver options in mepo are much better for usual configuration. The only feature I miss is the prevention of the screensaver when music is played by using the fanart handler plugin.

I can't run this plugin... After the installation, I go to the configuration and getting this error:

I'm using MP 1.0.1.0 with X-Factor r479 skin.

What can I do?
