Hi,

I will release 2.2.3 (hotfix) later tonigth.

The 2.2.3 release will fix the following;
* For users that had the 2.2.2 Beta installed the 2.2.2 final version failed to upgrade.
* Videos with "the" in the movie name failed to parse in FH.
* Latest Music properties not set and wrongly dependent on external dll files.
* Music Vidoes no longer working due to wrongly dependent on dll files.

No new features added and no need to do skin modifications due to this hotfix

No problem here diskeeper, ensure your running the latest StreamedMP release (v1.4.6) compatible with FanartHandler 2.2.2. If you are then please provide logs.

i have streamedmp v1.4.6,
fanarthandler 2.2.1 worked properly,
is the only moving picture in the basic home a black background, everything else is well.

Hi,

Fanart Handler 2.2.3 is now available from two locations;
1. From within the MPE1 installer (do a online refresh within the tool)
2. From MP Homepage under Plugins & Skins

Please note that this version is compatible with MP 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.2 Alpha. If you use latest MP1.2 SVN (compiling your own MP builds) versions, you should download the special version available in the first post of this thread. Both are FH 2.2.3 and the only difference is the dlls they are compiled with.

As always, please report any issues in this thread.

cul8er when you say 1.2 SVN are you talking about svn builds after 1.2 Alpha or both 1.2 Alpha and Beta?

I would of thought there was no breaking changes for 1.2 Alpha if FH was compiled against 1.1.x dlls. If this is ok, maybe amend your description to be compatible with 1.2 Alpha.

Hi fabien44,

XFactor skin does not support fanart handler v2.2.2. That is the reason why you do not get any fanart. I will release a new version of that skin in a few weeks time with v2.2.2 included.

Thank you for this information Cul8er... nearly gave this version a try because I read the first post which says:

Supported Skins

• 
  ....
• StreamedMP (link)
• X-Factor (link)

I guess this isnt correct for this version of fanart handler icw x-factor. Is it a good idea to change the first post to reflect this? Or am I wrong?
