my wife grew weary of seeing the same default picture (I have a lot of music without fanart) and she does like the random show. The random show surprised me and I thought it awkward until I realized it's purpose. It can be confusing when you expect to see the artist of current playing song. The new scraper is good.

PS: But it is better to ask @jameson_uk that he remade MIH, and the plugin does not save new fanart in the user directory (thumbs\Skin FanArt\UserDef\music\), and save them in a scraper directory (thumbs\Skin FanArt\Scraper\music\).

I fear that this is not going to happen, because he has more or less said that he would no longer have time to work on the subject. Actually he was asking the community if somebody was interested in taking over ownership of the MIH plugin.

Then, it is better to disable the loading of MIH fanart, as I did at home.

Because skinners use their own backgrounds for specific screens (e.g. radiotime), and as I commented above I don´t like the automatic random fanart which is not artist related in Radiotime

Randomly shows only user fan art, and no further. User fanart given a couple of messages above.

No, they can´t - only the user can - so a config option is needed

1. Turn off the skin settings.
2. Delete all user fanart in UserDef\Music folder
3. Turn off the display of user fanart in the configurator.

Maybe there´s a small misunderstanding here?
What a skinner can do in Radiotime is to show the current artist fanart with the fanart IDs <id>897688</id> and <id>897689</id>.
So if now fanart is found for the current played artist, the standard background of the skin should be shown and NOT a random artist fanart.leading to confusion
Imagine listening to a classical concert (e.g. Beethoven´s 9th symphony) and the fanart of AC/DC, Metallica etc is shown - I wouldn´t want that (and i´m convinced other users either)
So please re-read what I´ve commented above and re-think your disagrees

Is not it now? That he began to show random fanart I added myself just such an option:

Because MIH downloaded to your fanart, and put in the wrong directory.

I have everything exactly as you say. Ie or fanart for the actor who plays, or one of 5 fanart by default. Ie for Beethoven never show Metallica or Ramstein.
